As a Certification Engineer at Goldwind Denmark, you will join a diverse and highly skilled international team of engineers. Working closely with experts from various disciplines such as control systems, aerodynamics, and more, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the technical challenges and innovations involved in wind turbine design. In this role, you will contribute to the design and certification of some of the world’s largest wind turbines, drive new concepts, and play a key part in supporting the global expansion of wind energy.
Your tasks and primary responsibilities:
- Wind turbine product certification (domestic and international): Responsible for certification delivery of specific products, planning and identifying risks in advance, and promoting cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery.
- Technical certification: Assess technical background and risks, develop certification strategies, assist in technology migration and application, identify migration risks, and provide guidance for improvement.
- Certification management: Oversee certificate process management, liaise with certification bodies, engage in certification benchmarking, participate in domestic and international standards committees, and support market-side certification efforts (e.g., SSDA), including standard research and interpretation.
- Other responsibilities: Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
We expect you to have a MSc or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field.Additionally, we envision that you have:
- A bachelor's degree or higher with a relevant professional background in wind energy.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the wind power industry, preferably with wind turbine product certification.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills, with excellent internal and external communication abilities, and the capability to handle urgent and unexpected situations.
- High market awareness and strong customer interaction skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Information
Goldwind Denmark prefer that you can be part of the headquarters in Aarhus, but this is not a requirement. It is expected that there will be approximately 10-15 days of travel per year.
